"The Company" Auditions
Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 5:30-7:30PM
THE COMPANY under the direction of Ms. Erin is BSA official Performance Company. As member of The Company, dancers will have the opportunity to learn choreography with the goal of building a company repertoire. Dancers in The Company will also have the opportunity to perform at our Spring Concert, June Recital, community events, and more. Dancers will also receive The Company gear and apparel in forms of sweatshirts, jackets, joggers, leotards, and costumes for performances. The Company must attend an audition on Sept 9, 2026, from 5:30-7:30PM
Audition Order:
-Ballet Barre Warm-up
-Across the Floor (Turns-Leaps-Floorwork)
-Choreography
-Presentation of 1 minute Solo*
*Dancers are to prepare a 1-minute solo in any genre to present to the judges. The solo should be thoughtful and a representation of who you are as a dancer. Dancers are in charge of picking their own music. Once dancers have finalized their music selection, song title must be sent to Ms. Erin prior to Audition Day.
DRESS CODE:
Ballet Attire
-leotard, tights, skirt/shorts, leggings optional for contemporary movement.

Weekly Rehearsal - Wednesday 5:30-7:00PM
Classes: Ballet (Mandatory), Contemporary, & Jazz

"Brookline Breakers" Auditions
Tuesday, September 8, 2026 from 5:30-7:30PM
BROOKLINE BREAKERS under the direction of Alex "Backspace" Diaz is BSA's official Street Dance and Breakin' crew. As a member of Brookline Breakers, dancers will have the opportunity to further develop their street dance and breakin' skillz, perform at our Spring Concert, June Recital, community events, as well as attend street dance battles throughout the New England Area. Dancers will also receive BSA Brookline Breakers gear, such as sweatshirts, jackets, pants, spin caps, and more. Dancers interested in joining Brookline Breakers must attend an audition on Sept 8, 2026 from 5:30-7:30PM.

Classes: An Additional ADV. BEG. Street Dance, INT or ADV. Street Dance Class

Dancers auditioning for The Company and Brookline Breakers must register online prior to entering the Studio on the day of the Audition. The Audition fee for this event will be $25.00. Audition Registration can be completed through our Studio-Pro Registration Portal.
